COMMON QUESTIONS

We voted YES! When do I get my new benefits?
Q:

We're so glad you're excited — and we are too! We’re working diligently behind the scenes to transition services, support, and specific benefits, but each item requires coordination with vendors and systems that will take time to fully implement. We’ll keep you updated every step of the way and let you know as soon as new benefits become available.

A:
How long will it take until the merge is completed?
Q:

The merger will be legally complete once the paperwork is filed with the State of Texas and the National Association of REALTORS®. However, the full integration of each association’s staff, systems, and member benefits will be a more involved process. While it won’t happen overnight, we’re actively working to move things forward as efficiently as possible. We’ll keep you informed along the way and share updates as key milestones are reached.

A:
Who should I call for help with my Supra/MLS/support?
Q:

As we work behind the scenes to implement the merger, please continue conducting business with your association as usual. This includes reaching out to the same support teams you normally rely on. Once the transition is complete, we’ll notify you of any changes.

A:
Will my dues go up?
Q:

Dues for 2026 and Q1 MLS will be set to the lowest amount between the two associations unless NTREIS changes its fee structure. Following that period, the unified association will function as usual, following the Board's recommendations.

A:
What will the association name be?
Q:

The merged association will be named “MetroTex Association of REALTORS®”.

A:
Will this cause any interruption to my MLS or eKey access?
Q:

Both associations will work together to ensure a smooth transition, so you have continued access to the tools and resources you need.

A:
Will jobs be lost?
Q:

No. All staff from both associations will have a role in the merged association.

A:
Will CCAR’s Plano location remain open?
Q:

Absolutely. Both associations' current headquarters will remain open and accessible to all members. Ensuring convenient access to resources and education across the metroplex remains a top priority.
